Correction Withdrawn nipple
Image 1 shows the withdrawn nipple, after local anaesthesia has been introduced. On the second photograph the result is seen immediately after the intervention and on the third photograph the result after 1,5 years.
After anaesthesia the nipple is lifted and underneath it a needle is placed with which the nipple can be lifted. A not-soluble suture is squarewise placed under the nipple (4-7).
The suture is then loosely tied in order not to damage the milkglandscanals. The nipple lies therefore sort off on a ' bed ' of the suture. Fibrous tissue will grow in and make the situation permanent (8 ,9,10)
